It was Falooda that stroke the two young exceptionally food enthusiasts’ mind when they thought of establishing a new business venture. Their idea was to set up a place that’s completely dedicated to Falooda. In order to find out the best flavours in Falooda, they even took a tour to the India’s Falooda City – Mumbai. The only intension that kept them going was to bring some iconic flavours of tasty faloodas to their home town Calicut to be able to celebrate with family. And they succeeded it with love.

They hit the streets of Mumbai to discover how Mumbai’s iconic Badshah Cold Drinks in Crawford market, sells eleven varieties of falooda, along with a plethora of other cooling drinks that include ‘milk cold drink’, ‘milk and water sherbets’ and ‘milk with ice cream’, and the recipe for the pretty delicious Kesar Falooda, ice cream Falooda and Rabdi Faloodas. They just travelled in and around the famous falooda streets and making units of Mumbai, Chhattisgarh and Delhi and even stayed with the expert falooda wallas to learn the perfect blend like a professional forager who literally finds treasures in dishes, and to bring all the magical flavours they tasted to the silk street. And, way down to Madurai in south for Famous Jigarthanda, a variant of falooda known as jil jil jigarthanda.

Back to their home town, after an intensive research and gruesome effort for crafting some signature dishes of their own as an art for the love of food, Falooda Nation was born. Falooda Nation serves more than 35 variants of Faloodas. The second outlet of Falooda Nation has already started functioning at the Mall of Travancore in Trivandrum and more outlets will soon be opening in major cities like Kochi, Bengaluru and Dubai.
